About
Electro-Jazz Drummer is a live show by the trio BEAT MUSIC, where jazz and contemporary drums are shaped into tightly structured beats with a sharp electronic edge. It is led by drummer Mark Guiliana, featured on David Bowie's Blackstar, with a body of work spanning Brad Mehldau, M83 and St. Vincent. He is joined by Nicholas Semrad on keyboards and Chris Morrissey on electric bass, with Colossal Squid as support. With synth textures and intricate rhythmic detail, the show resembles a supercharged trip through outer space, defined by precision and otherworldly unfurling soundscapes.
