About
Gary Husband & The Orbital Band is a high-energy jazz fusion concert at Ronnie Scott's, celebrating the jazz clubs of the EFG London Jazz Festival. For the first time in 16 years, acclaimed drummer, pianist and keyboardist Gary Husband returns to the drum chair to lead his new project, The Orbital Band. With guitarist Rocco Zifarelli, keyboardist Tom Cawley and bassist Matthew Garrison, the quartet plays new and classic Husband compositions, music by the band members and adapted interpretations reflecting his work with artists like Allan Holdsworth, Chick Corea and John McLaughlin. The four musicians bring credits spanning Herbie Hancock, Peter Gabriel, Chaka Khan and Ennio Morricone, promising a virtuosic evening of fusion.
