About

Eucharist is a theatre play about Clara, who in an economy without opportunity and overrun with AI sells the one thing it cannot: her human heart. As her wounds heal, she finds comfort in a friendship with the gentle, devoted Ben, whose care grows increasingly watchful until protection and possession begin to blur. It is the biting debut play by Saskia Mollard and Tobias Abbott, winner of the Best New Writing Award at the London Pub Theatre Standing Ovation Awards. Co-produced by Springbok Production House and Talking Bird Productions and directed by Josh Maughan, it asks what the true price is of living beyond survival.
