About

Sacrilegious is a smart, funny, and provocative comedy about what money can or can't buy, staged at the Riverside Studios. Directed by Andy Sandberg and written by Tom Schulman, the Academy Award-winning author of Dead Poets Society, it is his first original play. On the holiest day of the year, an idealistic young rabbi dares to challenge the billionaire president of his congregation and questions a multi-million-dollar donation, igniting a battle for the hearts and minds of the entire community. The razor-sharp play pits principle against power as the congregation must decide whether morality can survive with $30 million on the table.
