About

A new exhibition at Rainham Hall, a National Trust house that served as a filming location for the major new UK film Sense and Sensibility. Costumes and props from the film are displayed in two of the rooms used for filming, showing how the house was transformed into the London interior of Mrs Jennings House, played by Fiona Shaw, a key location in the novel set in the 1790s following sisters Elinor (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and Marianne (Esme Creed Miles). An accessible, free element of the exhibition is in the Coach House, and visitors living in the RM13 postcode get into the Hall for free throughout the year. The event is free but normal admission charges apply for the venue.
