About
A family workshop inviting children and adults to make art together. Artist Tom James leads participants in building a large-scale sculptural marble run in Camden Art Centre's Drawing Studio. The collective kinetic sculpture, loosely inspired by Liz Larner's exhibition 'A Hard Line to Bend', is made from reclaimed tubes, pipes, bottles and funnels, echoing the playful work of Yves Tinguely and Fischli/Weiss. Each marble run is designed, tested and built before being disassembled, with activities for children aged 4 and up working alongside adults.
