About

An exhibition of sculpture by Liz Larner, the first showing of her work at a major UK institution. The American sculptor brings together works mostly from the last decade, spanning clay, metal, wood and plastic. The show traces ideas of transformation, from ancient myth and cosmology to the cycles of matter, centred on a new work inspired by the figure of Lilith. Her ceramic slabs, plastic assemblages and 'asteroids' reflect on how we are embodied within the material world.
