About

"Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" is a brand new concert production of the Broadway musical classic and its iconic Hollywood film adaptation, staged at the London Palladium. Broadway and West End stars Megan Hilty and Rachel Tucker play Lorelei Lee and Dorothy Shaw, two showgirls and best friends who board an ocean liner bound for Paris in search of romance and diamonds, pursued by a private investigator and drawn towards a diamond tiara. Directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, the show features songs like "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend", "A Little Girl from Little Rock", and "Bye Bye Baby", performed by an orchestra of 30 musicians led by Alan Williams. The original 1949 Broadway musical had music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Leo Robin, and a book by Anita Loos and Joseph Fields, and was adapted into a 1953 film starring Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell.
