About

Sister Act is a feel-good, R&B-infused musical comedy based on the beloved 1992 film of the same name. It follows lounge singer Deloris Van Cartier, who witnesses a murder and is placed in witness protection at an abbey as Sister Mary Clarence, where she gives the choir a makeover by introducing R&B into their repertoire. The show features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater and a book by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner, and stars Zoe Birkett as Deloris, Craig Revel Horwood as Mother Superior and Paul Chuckle as Monsignor O'Hara. Expect roof-raising ensemble numbers, sidesplitting comedy and a score blending 1970s disco, gospel and R&B.
