About

Mean Girls is a stage musical comedy about high school drama, friendship and self-identity, coming to London's West End. The book is by Tina Fey, with music by Jeff Richmond and lyrics by Nell Benjamin, based on Fey's 2004 film and inspired by Rosalind Wiseman's book Queen Bees and Wannabes, directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw. It tells of Cady Heron, homeschooled by zoologist parents, who faces the Plastics – Regina, Gretchen and Karen – who rule the school with their cruel ways, and decides to end Regina's reign. Producers are Lorne Michaels, Sonia Friedman Productions, and David Ian for Crossroads Live.
