About

An exhibition celebrating Gunnersbury Park's 100th birthday, the first in a series of centenary exhibitions at Gunnersbury Park Museum. It traces how the park, once a private estate from the days of the Rothschilds, became a public park enjoyed by generations. It covers Gunnersbury's role in the World War II war effort and stories from employees, their families and the local community about sport, leisure, music, nature and wellbeing. It also features a 'thinking tree' where visitors can share their thoughts and feelings.
