About
A one-hour, in-person library talk about how people in the early modern period used broadsides to advertise themselves and their work, from lecture series and political movements to inventions. It is run by Guildhall Library and led by Rare Books Librarian Sarah Hume, looking at self-promotion of that era and how access to mass printing shaped society. Booking is essential, and visitors should use the Aldermanbury entrance to Guildhall Library/The London Centre. The event takes place at Guildhall Library on Aldermanbury, London EC2V 7HH.
