About
Jazz with the Half-Diminished Band is a free lunchtime jazz session at the Rose Theatre's Rose Cafe. The band Half-Diminished are local amateur musicians who have played together in one form or another for several years, though this quintet is a new venture. They play jazz standards as well as blues, pop and rock numbers, all in a laid-back jazz style. The line-up includes Nick Sharapan on drums, John Lilley on bass, Patrick Geraghty on guitar, Chris Barnett and John Martin on saxophone, and Deborah Blowers on piano and vocals.
