Jennifer's Body
Prince Charles Cinema, Leicester Place 7, WC2H 7BY London, Chinatown
About
A teen horror film about high-school It-girl Jennifer, who becomes possessed by a demon after being kidnapped and sacrificed in a failed occult ritual. Bloodthirsty, she takes revenge on any man who crosses her path, while her best friend Needy refuses to stand by as the body count rises. Directed by Karyn Kusama and starring Megan Fox, Adam Brody and Amanda Seyfried, the film initially received mixed reviews but has since become a horror and teen cult classic reclaimed by queer and female audiences.

Critics
5.6Mixed
Critics praise the sharp, witty dialogue and strong performances from the two leads, plus the film's blend of horror and satire. They fault uneven tone and a premise that is neither scary nor funny enough, with some weak dialogue.
