Newington Green Unitarian Church, Newington Green 39A, N16 9PR London, Highbury
About
A book launch for "John Berger: From Life", a new biography of the writer John Berger. Gareth Evans will be in conversation with its author Tom Overton, who catalogued Berger's archive at the British Library and got to know him in his final years. The book draws on personal memory and previously unseen material to explore the life and work of one of the great cultural figures of the last century. A bookstall by Burley Fisher Books will be available, and the event is part of the film and event series John Berger at 100.
