About

A public seminar at SOAS University of London in which writer and filmmaker Xiaolu Guo and historian Jeffrey Wasserstrom discuss their new books about China. The event is organised by the SOAS China Institute and chaired by Dr Carwyn Morris, with Guo presenting Everyday Tang and Wasserstrom presenting Everything You Wanted to Know about China (*But Were Afraid to Ask). The two will explore China as a land of both transformations and continuities and share their recent experiences engaging with the country. Attendance is free with required registration, and copies of the books will be on sale and signed afterwards.
