Miguel Chevalier Beyond Retina

An exhibition of new works by Miguel Chevalier titled Beyond Retina, shown at The Mayor Gallery. For more than four decades the artist has investigated the relationship between nature and artifice, as well as the invisible flows that shape contemporary societies. The exhibition explores the transformation of vision in the age of artificial intelligence, when seeing extends through intelligent cameras, algorithms and neural networks. It brings together robotic drawings, laser-engraved digigraphs on aluminium, 3D-printed sculptures, video works and an interactive installation.
