About

A live performance of three horrifying and ghostly tales staged in a Drawing Room setting at the museum during the Halloween season, after it has closed to the public. It was adapted by Dominic Gerrard and is performed by Adam Cunis. The programme includes 'Sikes and Nancy', Dickens' brutal adaptation of the murder scene in Oliver Twist; 'The Lawyer & The Ghost', about a young lawyer confronting an unearthly visitor in his lodgings; and 'The Dead Hand', one of Wilkie Collins' rarer ghost stories of suspense and humour. The performance lasts 60 minutes and is suitable for ages 12 and over.
