About

Nero is a bold new musical that reimagines the notorious Roman emperor from a whole new perspective. It has a book and lyrics by Steven Sater and music by Duncan Sheik, the duo behind the multi-award-winning Spring Awakening, with direction by Lindsay Posner. The show explores Nero's ambitions as an artist and performer before his rise to power and his role in Rome's ultimate downfall, putting a modern spin on a story of ambition, power, and greed. Andrew Barth Feldman stars in the title role.
