About
A 45-minute expert-led walking tour exploring Greenwich's iconic riverside site, a historic landmark. It covers the history and architecture of the site, from its early years as a Tudor place where King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I were born, to its time as the Royal Hospital for Seamen, built by Sir Christopher Wren. On the tour you take in the grand perspective of Grand Square and the Water Gates, visit King Charles Court and the Colonnades, and learn the history of the Nelson Pediment. The tour finishes at the Painted Hall and departs from the Visitor Centre.
