Behind the Scenes | Secret Dome Tour is a guided tour that takes you up the dome of the Chapel of St Peter and St Paul on a narrow, winding staircase, with panoramic 360° views over Greenwich and central London. An expert guide leads the tour, revealing the dome's hidden history, original relics including a vantage point once used to defend London during the Second World War, the architecture of Christopher Wren, and the inner workings of the historic turret clock. Tickets include a gift pack, entry to the Painted Hall with its talks and multimedia guide, the 600 Years of History tours, and the Discover Greenwich Museum in the Visitor Centre. The tour is not suitable for everyone: you must be able to climb 125 steps unaided, children under 14 are not permitted, and walking aids are not allowed.
