An exhibition by the Indonesian art collective Taring Padi at Ibraaz, held in the Majlis. Taring Padi, founded in Yogyakarta in 1998 by progressive art students and activists, makes banners, woodcut prints, posters and cardboard puppets as tools of political education and resistance. Titled after a Reformasi-era protest chant meaning 'the people united will never be defeated', the show gathers works and archival material from the collective's nearly thirty-year history. It unfolds over three chapters, accompanied by a public programme of workshops, talks and activations.
