Roberto Fonseca & Vincent Segal: jazz piano meets cello.

About
Roberto Fonseca & Vincent Segal is a concert at Cadogan Hall, part of the EFG London Jazz Festival. The Grammy-nominated Cuban pianist Roberto Fonseca and the French cellist Vincent Segal, a Victoires du Jazz winner, perform music from their new album 'Nuit parisienne à La Havane', which earned a 2026 Cubadisco Award. Their genre-blurring dialogue moves between contemporary, electronic, jazz and world music, turning from the sensual energy of 'La Gran Diversión' towards something more reflective and personal. Much of the music was shaped in advance but leaves room for improvisation in the studio, rewarding careful listening like a delicate, spontaneous conversation between piano and cello.
