About
Sharqiah is a live band that bridges Middle Eastern musical heritage with contemporary global jazz, blending traditions from Morocco, Yemen, Turkey and beyond. The band weaves soulful woodwinds, rich arrangements and driving grooves into a hypnotic live experience. Led by Ofer Peled on saxophone, clarinet, flutes and zorna, the line-up includes Konstantinos Glynos on qanun, Tomer Eldor on piano, Giuliano Osella on drums, Giovani Cresseri on bass, and guest singer Olcay Bayir. The evening is part of the EFG London Jazz Festival.
