About

An afternoon of sewing and conversation, where participants stitch shapes, words, patterns or draw with thread onto a fabric piece that evolves with its contributors. It is run by RIBA Learning, led by artist Lil Adams and architectural designer Edie Parfitt, drawing inspiration from the collections at The London Archives. The fabric is a travelling piece visiting venues over three years during the refurbishment of RIBA's headquarters, building a community of stitchers. It takes place at The London Archives, a free public archive charting 1,000 years of London's history.
