About
A screening of the film 'The Dreamed Adventure'. In the verdant Bulgarian mountains, archaeologist Veska crosses paths with Saïd, an old acquaintance whose car has been stolen; as she takes him to her excavation site, she is drawn into his shady business world. From Western writer-director Valeska Grisebach, it is a skilfully directed drama with a strong feminist spine, set in a small town gripped by violence and led by a non-professional cast, including Yana Radeva in a resplendent debut. The film won the Cannes Jury Prize.

Critics
7.5Very good
Critics praise the unhurried, atmospheric direction, the blending of genres and the non-professional actors. Some find the pace too demanding, placing the film only mid-field for a few reviewers.
