About

A play in which, in an ancient rotting house, an unseen visitor knocks and a poisonous crone and her pompous, disgraced son argue over who should answer the door. Voila! Theatre Festival and The Playground Theatre present the show. Built on a single deliberately bad joke, it becomes a dream-riff on families, intergenerational trauma, envy, hate, mothers and sons, and the theatre itself. Following a successful Camden Fringe run, it was the Camden New Journal's Pick of the Fringe of over 400 shows.
