The spice ports: Nicholas Nugent on early sea trade.

About

A lecture called 'The spice ports: mapping the origins of global sea trade' that shows globalism is not a recent phenomenon. It is given by Nicholas Nugent, a former journalist with the BBC World Service. His wide-ranging account of a fascinating period of global history uses original maps and contemporary artists' views to tell the story. The event is organised by the South West regional committee and no advance booking is required.
