About

The Sugar Kings Trio - Cuban Salsa Night is a live Latin music night at Soul Mama Islington. The UK-based Sugar Kings trio play authentic Cuban son, the Afro-Cuban sound from eastern Cuba that gave rise to modern salsa. The band members, mainly from Santiago de Cuba, have a lifetime's experience with the genre and perform in a stripped-back trio show, with rhythms guaranteed to turn the evening into a fiesta.
