About
The Swingle Singers – Close-Mic Classics is a concert celebrating a vocal sound born in Paris in 1962, when Ward Swingle had session singers perform Bach as if it were jazz. The records that followed won Grammy awards and inspired modern a cappella. The show continues this story, featuring live reimaginings of Bach, jazz standards and original writing from across the group's sixty years.
