Tricity Vogue’s All Girl Swing Band

Tricity Vogue’s All Girl Swing Band is a cabaret show at Wilton’s Music Hall, a wild night out 1920s-style with songs of flappers, miscreants and other dangerous creatures. Cabaret singer Tricity Vogue and her banjo ukulele lead eight women, joined by a three-part horn section with Alyson Cawley on tenor saxophone, Olivia Cuttill on trumpet and Stephanie Dyer on trombone, and a rhythm section of Andrea Vicari on piano, Emily O’Hara on guitar, Amy Baldwin on double bass and Michèle Drees on drums. Boisterous rhythms, mischievous covers and sizzling harmonies conjure the spirit of the original jazz age, with unexpected songs dripping with vintage glamour and sauce, played in top hats and tailcoats. It is more than a gig, it is a full-on cabaret show, and has been the band’s favourite gig for over a decade and a firm audience favourite at Wilton’s.
