A guided tour of St Bride Foundation, the house of print history behind Fleet Street, offering a close look at its collections. A workshop team of journeymen and printers who worked in Fleet Street and the wider print industry leads visitors through the print workshop with presses from the 18th to the 20th century and the story of print from the days of hot metal type. In the historical reading room, a resident expert shows treasures of the library, from papyrus dating back to 1200BC and works printed by Caxton to typeface artwork by Edward Johnston and British road sign models by Margaret Calvert & Jock Kinneir.
