About
An exhibition marking 50 years since William Eggleston's Guide (1976), showcasing iconic and rarely seen dye transfer prints by an American pioneer of colour photography. It brings together celebrated colour works alongside lesser-known images, including early black-and-white and Brownie photographs from the 1960s and 1970s. His pictures of roadside diners, suburban streets and domestic spaces reveal alienation, loneliness and desire beneath the American Dream. Organised by The Photographers' Gallery in partnership with the Wilson Centre for Photography.
