Young Designers’ Fashion Drawing

Young Designers’ Fashion Drawing

Fashion and Textile Museum, Bermondsey Street 83, SE1 3XF London, The Borough

£25 (Includes materials and exhibition entry)

About

Young Designers’ Fashion Drawing is a workshop where students learn how to create hand drawn fashion illustrations, working with selected items from the museum’s permanent collection. It is led by designer and tutor Jane Parker, who has over 30 years’ experience in the fashion industry. Participants are shown techniques and tips, from creating a well-proportioned figure to creating the illusion of texture, pattern, depth and folds. The session examines different styles of fashion illustration and encourages participants to develop their own approach to this highly stylized medium.
