Fashion and Textile Museum, Bermondsey Street 83, SE1 3XF London, The Borough

£65.00 (Includes materials and exhibition entry)

About

Young Designers Fashion-Inspired Gelli Printing is a hands-on half-day workshop where 13 to 16-year-olds explore Gelli Printing, an experimental technique for making bold, layered prints for fashion. It is led by Jane Parker, a freelance print designer with over 30 years in the fashion industry who studied textile design and began as a knitwear and jersey wear designer. Working from fabrics, prints and runway trends, participants create their own prints, building texture, repetition and colour palettes, and leave with a collection for sketchbooks, fashion illustrations or standalone artworks.
