About

"A Vivid Blur" is an exhibition of light-based works presented by SVA Galleries at the SVA Chelsea Gallery. It is curated by Kacie Lees, an alumna of the school's MFA Fine Arts program, and features a dozen artists, including Lees herself. The artists work across neon, holography, plasma, projection, and analog photography in wide-ranging installations. The show centers on light's paradoxical nature: immaterial and intangible yet powerful, revealing form, defining spatial relationships, and mediating our experience of time.
