And I am aware of my heart: it opens and closes

An exhibition titled 'And I am aware of my heart: it opens and closes' running from October 24 to December 5, 2026. It is an exhibition by Mother Creatrix Collective, inspired by Sylvia Plath's poem Tulips. The featured artists explore transformation, grief, and empathy in motherhood, showing the link between their identities and their children's, with approaches from including their children in their work to community-based art and activism as caregiving as social practice. The show also includes artistic collaborations inspired by childbirth and parenting experiences.
