An exhibition of photographs presented at Aperture's new home in New York, which includes a bookstore and gallery. Titled Aperture Loves New York, it pays tribute to photographers who have shaped—and been shaped by—the city, bringing together memorable photographs with corresponding Aperture books. Organized by Sarah Meister, Executive Director, it features photographs by more than twenty artists, including Carrie Mae Weems alongside Diane Arbus, Robert Frank, Nan Goldin, Stephen Shore and others. The presentation is anchored in Aperture's publishing history and captures the complex spirit of New York City.
