Meet Me in the Forest

Meet Me in the Forest is an exhibition of twenty-one contemporary works spanning paintings, textiles, mixed-media, glass, ceramics, photography, and installations. It invites visitors into forests, gardens, and natural worlds artists create, exploring the layered relationships between nature and humankind, where beauty, danger, and humanity converge. The show draws on the Cafesjian Art Trust Museum's collection, new acquisitions, and loans, and features artists including Carrie Mae Weems, Ebony G. Patterson, and Ana Mendieta. It is organized by the museum's curator Jill Ahlberg Yohe and assistant curator of glass Linnea Seidling, with works lent in part by Gladstone Gallery.
