Celia Paul talks about her Venice book with Jarrett Earnest.

Rizzoli Bookstore hosts a conversation between painter Celia Paul and Jarrett Earnest, host of the New York Review of Books podcast Private Life, celebrating Paul's new book Objects of Desire: An Artist in Venice. The book records her time alone in Venice on an artist's residency, her perceptions of the city, and her preoccupations with female desire and love, mortality, and memory. After the talk, Celia Paul will sign copies of her book.
