Soje and Hua Xi read poems beside Shuling Guo's Temple II.

A literary reading held at Hollis Taggart Downtown, open to the public, with writers Soje, Sigrid Adamsson, Asha Futterman, Hua Xi and Shuling Guo reading their works. It celebrates Shuling Guo's exhibition Temple II, paintings that bring together the female body, botanical forms and devotional imagery as a language shaped by motherhood, memory and loss. Writers and artists come together in conversation through the reading and a reception in the gallery space. Doors open at 6 pm and the reading starts at 7 pm, running until 9 pm.
