Crunch & Munch: garden day to end the growing season.
About
Crunch & Munch: A Fall Garden Celebration is a community garden gathering marking the end of the growing season. It is hosted by the Van Cortlandt Park Alliance, which holds it as its 3rd annual event of this kind. Visitors can stuff a scarecrow, plant garlic, rake and crunch leaves to fill compost bins, and make herb bundles to take home. There is also a seasonal craft, a small snack, and the chance to wander through the raised beds of the garden.
