About
Pumpkin Smash is a family-friendly event where you bring pumpkins, gourds, and jack-o'-lanterns to be smashed and composted for NYC city parks and green spaces. It is run by the LES Ecology Center and features giveaways, painting with food scraps, typewriter poetry with Jayshawn Lee from the Climate Imaginarium, and a community drumming circle with Fabio Puentes from Cultura Pa'lante.
