Tune-Up Tuesdays - Garden Volunteer Days
Van Cortlandt Park Alliance
About
A garden volunteer day called "Tune-Up Tuesdays – Garden Volunteer Days" at the VCPA Learning Garden in Van Cortlandt Park, near the Mosholu Avenue and Broadway entrance past the Northwest playground. The Van Cortlandt Park Alliance, which works in partnership with the Department of Parks & Recreation to preserve, support, and promote the park, invites volunteers to care for the Learning Garden. Volunteers maintain compost bins, weed, water, and harvest produce; no gardening experience is needed, just clothing that can get dirty. Volunteers must be 18 or older, and groups of five or more register together by email.
