"Faces In Color" is an oil portrait workshop that explores how a few carefully chosen colors can bring a face to life. Artist Kristina Dubrovskaia guides participants step by step through an approachable introduction to portrait painting, from a front-facing reference and a limited palette to simple shapes, proportions and the play of light and shadow. Attendees mix colors, build light and dark areas and develop an expressive portrait study, with individual feedback and room to make their own color choices. All materials and references are provided, and beginners as well as painters with some experience are welcome; everyone leaves with a small oil portrait study.
