Families & Folk Art
About
Families & Folk Art is a hands-on program at the American Folk Art Museum where families explore the galleries together and then make art in the studio. Participants will visit the current exhibition, Locating Girlhood: Place and Identity in Early American “Schoolgirl” Art, and create their own original embroidery piece, with all materials provided. It is designed for children ages four and up with their accompanying adults.
