About
Family Fridays is a hands-on program at the National Museum of Mathematics bringing family members of all ages together for engaging mathematical activities. This session, "The Chiral Cube: A Mind-Bending Origami Puzzle," is led by artist and educator Paula Beardell Krieg. Participants explore origami, geometry, and optical illusion, discovering chirality — shapes that come in left- and right-handed mirror-image versions. They then fold an origami cube and create surprising pieces that fit together in clever, unexpected ways.
