About
Spooktacular MAD Halloween Party! is a festive Halloween day at the Museum of Arts and Design with hands-on art activities, spooky creations, and family-friendly fun, and guests are encouraged to come dressed in their most creative costume. It is held by the museum and features an interactive soft sculpture installation by Mookntaka, the Brooklyn-based artist duo of Mark Zlotsky and Karyn Lao, whose cheerful inflatable sculptures encourage people of all ages to connect through play. Visitors can also pose in a Boo! photo booth and join art-making including mask making, spooky pom-poms with resident artist Karyn Lao, and pop-up Halloween cardmaking with artist Hayley Ferber.
