High Tide

'High Tide' is an exhibition about humankind and the sea, bringing together fashion and contemporary art in Bruges. It was curated by fashion curator Karen Van Godtsenhoven for Musea Brugge, marking the first time fashion and contemporary art are combined on this scale in the city. The show unfolds as a sensory journey along twelve thematic islands, exploring the many faces of water and the North Sea's role in Bruges' history, with works by artists such as Bill Viola, Otobong Nkanga and Rinus Van de Velde and designs by houses including Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Iris van Herpen and Dries Van Noten.
