Botanical relief printing workshop with Margrethe Aanestad.

An evening workshop in botanical relief printing, where plant parts are coated in ink and pressed onto paper or fabric to leave a direct, mirrored, highly detailed impression of a leaf's veins and edges. Artist Margrethe Aanestad leads the class, teaching the technique before participants experiment and create their own artworks. It is part of the 3-session printmaking series "Impressions: Carved & Pressed" and can be taken alone or as part of the progression; all materials are provided, no prior experience is required, and it is for ages 18 and up.
